     This week we completed a science unit on motion. We discussed different types of motion such as circular, back and forth, curved, and straight. We also experimented with forces used to make things move.
     We enjoyed many stories written by Donald Crews. Most of his books are about things that move such as trucks, airplanes, boats, and trains. Ask your child to tell you about Donald Crews' books Freight Train and Carousel! What a clever illustrator he is!
