100th Day! 02/03/2009

Yesterday we celebrated the 100th day of school! Wow it's hard to believe we've reached this milestone already! The kids have been anticipating this day for quite awhile. I had planned to take some pictures of the kids participating in various 100 activities, but found that I couldn't help and photograph at the same time!
I believe their favorite activities were making their 100th Day hats (because they got to use some fun markers/stamps) and working on a 100 piece puzzle! Everyone in the class had a turn working, in small groups, on the puzzle. They didn't quite finish, but were very proud of the progress they made. We left the puzzle out so they can continue to work on it during their free time.
We also enjoyed eating some beautiful star-shaped cookies that Ashley's mom made for us, read special poems, sang songs, and read stories. By the way, be sure you get a good look at your child's drawing of what he/she will look like at age 100!
     HAPPY 100TH DAY!
