The kids had a great time on Polar Express Day. They rotated through all three first grade classrooms. In each room they made several crafts and snacks. That afternoon we ate our snack, watched (part of ) the movie, and opened our presents! Special thanks to our volunteers and to all of you for sending in supplies. We could not do this without you! Thanks for making our day so special.

I'll get these up on the picasa site soon, so that you can download any that you want! Merry Christmas!

Mrs. Carter,

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! This was such a fun day! The first grade teachers did such a great job...and the little Santa handprints actually turned out to be so cute! (I worried that they were smearing a lot...but they look fantastic!) Thank you for the great organization and wonderful activities for the children!

Also, thank you for the recipe book. What a great keepsake!

And finally...allow me to say: GREAT JOB to the Triple D's during the Talent Show! Jarod is still talking about it. He had such a great time. We did too. We're very proud of him. He loved your performance of "I Like To Move It". That happens to be one of his favorite songs now. We actually bought him a music card from Hallmark for his birthday that plays that song since he enjoys it so much. He was surprised that the Triple D's were performing at the show, and loved every minute of it! I have a few seconds of it recorded on my digital camera; so let me know if you need a copy. I regret that I don't have all of it. Why do cameras act up when you need them most? We were running low on space on the memory on the card and were trying to conserve space for Jarod's song.

You all did a great job. It was a lot of fun!

Thanks again and have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Sincerely,
Shannon

Shannon,

Thanks so much for your nice comments. Also, thanks for helping us out during the polar express! You all are the best!

Jarod did a great job with his song in the talent show. (That takes a lot of nerve!)

I'd love to get a copy of The Triple D's! It is a tradition for the first grade teachers to do something silly in the talent show, and we heard this was a favorite! We had fun!

Merry Christmas!
